The Byte Discreet Sub Gun Case Features
The case features a discreet design and is made so you can take your weapon anywhere necessary without attracting unwanted attention. This bag is built from 1000D Cordura brand fabric. The Byte is a discreet carry carbine gun case built for weapons under 20″. This case is perfect for small guns with folding and collapsing braces. The Byte is built with durable nylon fabric and HDPE foam for maximum protection. This discreet sub gun case is made with storage for magazines and gear in mind.

Case Interior
The Byte’s interior is built specifically for submachine guns. The Byte can also hold Pistol Braced AR-15s that feature a law tactical folding brace or similar folding style brace.
Weapon Retention
The interior features a full loop backing that allows you to place the two included weapon retention straps strategically. So you can customize the weapon retention to fit your specific needs.
Storage and Pockets
The inside flap of The Byte case features a full-width zipper pocket. The pocket spans the full 20″ width of the case, allowing you to store magazines, extra ammo, or gun cleaning kits.
This storage pocket is perfect for any soft goods, gun-cleaning kits, or other accessories you may need at the range or to carry with you on a daily basis.
Attachments
The Byte’s back wall is a full panel of loop velcro. This wall allows you to attach one of our ever-growing list of attachment options to make the case even better for your needs.
Attachments include silencer holders, handgun attachment kits, and magazine wraps. Our growing list of attachments will make this bag the perfect carry option for your PCC. PDW, or Submachine gun.
Discreet Exterior

This is my second Lynx Defense Byte bag and I have to say I LOVE them both. They have fantastic construction with ample hook and loop attachment area. The discrete appearance is a strong selling point and I have a bag for both my MCX and MPX. With a folding stock, both SBRs can have suppressors attached and still fit easily within the bags. There is no other choice for me and I have recommended it to colleagues who have enjoyed it as well. Also, customer service is fantastic. I ordered TAN and wanted to switch the order to brown and I was surprised when my email was answered in less than three minutes saying, “No problem. Done.” I mean, WOW! Great job guys!

This is my second Byte and review.
Last review was April of 2021.
But alas this Byte is not for me, but an early Christmas gift for my oldest son, and this one is in the Tiger Stripe Camo color.
Do you think my son would notice if I gave him my black and gray colored one and I kept this one 😁
I really dig this color, and if I had to replace mine, I would go with this color.
These Bytes are perfect for braced pistols either with side folding brace like the Stribog, or a buffer tube style like the CMMG Banshee.
There is room for the gun, a telescoping shooter tripod to help zero your optic, and room for a tripod for your phone to take photos/vids at the range.
And of course there is room to lay on top of the other stuff 18″x12″ targets.
This bag is heavy duty and well constructed, and padded too.
Just buy one, or perhaps two.

The Byte is very well made and designed. I wanted a versatile and discrete bag for an SBR. Just a note, it does fit a folded 11.5” MCX also. There is no extra room for any longer barrel though.

High quality non-tactical looking bag, big enough for my MPX-K, mags, and a can. Has a zipper pocket on the front that works well for a pistol. With all that packed up, there is still room, 3” or so, on each side of the MPX.

Excellent quality and fit for my MCX Rattler. Would highly recommend it. Only reason I rated 4 stars is because color shown on webpage is two shades of blue, and the one I received is black and grey. Discreet, durable, down right edc perfection. I use this pdw bag for my Q HB with thunder chicken silencer and it fits like a glove. If you have a silencer, make sure you get the hush pouch for your bag! Also fits my BT APC 9 PRO and HK SP5K PDW. This is the last pdw bag you will ever need.

This is the best case available for the CMMG Banshee MkGs and the Stribog SP9A1 Gen 2, both of which I own.
The inside pocket I put the 8″ and 10″ targets in there, and then after putting in my gun, I can lay on top of it the 12″x12″ and the 18″x12″ targets with ease, and zip the case shut without ruining the targets.
Buy one, you will not regret it, and also pick up the three magazine Velcro backed setup, it holds my long Glock G17 33 round magazines perfectly.
This is a very high quality case, and worth the price.
