Finding the Right Range Bag for Your Firearm
Every firearm has unique dimensions, and not every range bag will fit every gun. A Glock 19 with a mounted Holosun 507C and TLR-7A needs different clearance than a bare Glock 43X. An SBR like the Sig MCX Rattler requires specific internal dimensions that most generic bags can't provide.
Our fitment database takes the guesswork out of finding the right bag. We've physically tested each firearm model in our bags, documenting exact fitment with common accessories like red dots, weapon lights, and compensators. You'll know exactly what fits before you buy.
What We Test For
Each firearm fitment guide includes:
- Base firearm dimensions — Overall length, height, and width
- With optics — Fitment with common red dots (Holosun, Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint)
- With weapon lights — Clearance for Streamlight TLR, SureFire X300, and others
- With suppressors (where applicable) — Extended length requirements
- Magazine capacity — How many spare mags fit alongside your firearm
Why Fitment Matters
A properly fitted range bag protects your investment. When your firearm fits snugly in a dedicated compartment, it won't shift during transport, bang against other gear, or risk damaging optics. For expensive firearms like Staccato 2011s or suppressed SBRs, proper storage isn't optional—it's essential.
Our bags are designed with adjustable dividers and modular inserts specifically to accommodate different firearm configurations. Whether you're carrying a compact CCW pistol or a folding PCC, there's a Lynx Defense bag built for your setup.
