What Makes the Staccato C2 Different to Pack
The C2 is the compact end of Staccato's 2011 lineup — a 3.9" barrel with the wider 2011 grip frame that's the family's signature. Compared to a striker-fired compact like a Glock 19 or Sig P320 Compact, the C2 reads taller in the grip and slightly slimmer through the slide. The bag-fitment effect: padded inserts sized for a duty striker pistol grip the C2 a touch higher, with the magwell sitting closer to the bag lid than a comparable Glock would.
That difference is comfortable, not cramped. The C2 settles into a Concord or Valkyrie pistol bay without rocking, and the slide profile clears the lid even with a slide-mounted optic in place.
The C2 With a Red Dot
The C2 ships with an optic cut on most current SKUs (Trijicon RMR, SRO, DPP — the usual 2011-pattern plate options). Our pistol bag inserts are sized to clear a slide-mounted optic without compressing it against the bag lid, so an optic-equipped C2 takes up the same vertical space in the bay as the iron-sighted version. If you're running an SRO with the higher hood, double-check clearance with the bag closed — the SRO is the tallest of the common options.
Mag Storage for the 2011 Platform
Staccato 2011 magazines are tall — standard C2 mags ship in 16-round 9mm capacity, with 17, 20, and 26-round options for higher-capacity setups. Our larger pistol bays handle the 16- and 17-round mags upright with room above the basepad. The 26-round IPSC-legal mags sit deeper and may need a bag with longer mag pockets like the Concord.
Recommended Bags for the C2
Best fits in our lineup, based on hands-on testing: the Concord for a full range loadout (room for the C2 plus mags, optic, and accessories), the Valkyrie for a tighter EDC-class carry, and the Pistol Bag for the standard one-pistol setup. The Pistol Portfolio works for discreet C2 carry when the bag itself shouldn't read as a gun bag.
