What Makes the PDP F-Series the Smaller-Hand PDP
The F-Series was designed from the ground up for shooters with smaller hands — the grip circumference is reduced by about 0.4" compared to the standard PDP, and the trigger reach is shorter. With a 3.5" barrel and 15+1 capacity, the F-Series is the smallest member of the PDP family by overall length, which makes it the easiest of the three to conceal. Same Performance Duty Trigger, same SuperTerrain serrations, same Universal optics plate system as its bigger siblings.
In a padded pistol bay, the F-Series sits with extra room around the slide. Inserts sized for a duty pistol comfortably hold the F-Series with no rocking, and the shorter overall length makes the F-Series the best fit of the three PDPs in smaller pistol cases.
The F-Series With a Red Dot
The F-Series uses the same PDP Universal Plate system as the rest of the family — Holosun 507C/509T, Trijicon RMR, and Aimpoint ACRO patterns are supported with the correct plate. Our pistol bag inserts clear an optic-equipped F-Series without lid compression. With the shorter slide, even taller-window optics like the SRO clear comfortably.
Mag Storage for the F-Series
The F-Series ships with 15-round 9mm mags. Like the Compact, it accepts 18-round PDP Full Size mags with a small grip protrusion. Both fit our pistol-bay mag pockets cleanly. The F-Series is the only PDP that fits comfortably in our slimmest carry options — the Pistol Portfolio handles the F-Series with a couple of spare mags for discreet daily carry.
Recommended Bags for the F-Series
Best fits in our lineup, based on hands-on testing: the Concord for full range loadouts, the Valkyrie for tighter range carry, and the Pistol Bag for the standard one-pistol setup. The Pistol Portfolio works for discreet F-Series carry when the bag itself shouldn't read as a gun bag, and the Lunch Box handles the F-Series cleanly for compact range trips.
