What Makes the PDP Full Size the Duty Standard

The PDP Full Size 4.5" is Walther's flagship duty pistol — 18+1 capacity, the longest barrel in the PDP family, and the same Performance Duty Trigger that earned the platform its reputation. The 4.5" barrel pushes overall length past 8", putting the Full Size in the same envelope as a Glock 17 or Sig P320 Full. The 18-degree grip angle reads more naturally than Glock's 22° for shooters coming from 1911 or 2011 platforms.

In a padded pistol bay, the Full Size sits comfortably with the muzzle clearing the forward bay wall — the 4.5" barrel doesn't push the limits of our pistol-class bags, and the SuperTerrain serrations don't catch on the bag's interior fabric.

The PDP Full Size With a Red Dot

The Full Size's Universal Plate system supports the same optic patterns as the rest of the PDP family — Holosun 507C/509T, Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint ACRO with the correct plate. Our pistol bag inserts clear a Full Size with optic mounted without compressing the dot against the bag lid. The longer slide gives slide-mounted lights and optics extra real estate without crowding.

Mag Storage for the Full Size

The Full Size ships with 18-round 9mm mags as standard — the highest capacity in the PDP family. They sit upright in our pistol-bay mag pockets without crushing the basepad. A duty loadout (Full Size plus three or four 18-round mags) fits the Concord with room for a tourniquet, eye pro, and a small medkit — the standard agency range bag setup.
