What to Know About PDP Fitment
The Walther PDP is the rare striker-fired pistol that earned a reputation for ergonomics first and feature set second. The grip texture, the trigger, and the SuperTerrain slide serrations all add up to a gun that feels at home in your hand — and the family is wide enough that the same bag fits the Compact, F-Series, and Full Size with slightly different room to spare. The Compact 4" rides shorter, the F-Series 3.5" is the slimmest of the three, and the Full Size 4.5" stretches a half-inch past the others. Padded inserts that hold one tend to handle the others without much fuss.
Optic-ready PDPs accept slide-mounted red dots (Holosun 507C, Trijicon RMR adapter plate, etc.) without changing the bag-fitment math — the optic adds height, but our pistol bag inserts are sized for duty pistols with optics already mounted.
Walther PDP With a Light
The PDP's standard 1913 rail accepts most weapon lights — Streamlight TLR-1, Surefire X300, Modlite. With a light mounted, the gun gets longer and the muzzle pokes a little further forward in the insert. Our Concord and Pistol Bag handle a PDP Full Size 4.5" with TLR-1 mounted comfortably; the Compact has even more room.
Spare Mags and Range Days
Walther's PDP magazines are mid-length 9mm doublestacks — 18-round capacity in the Full Size, 15-round in the Compact. They sit happily in the magazine pouches across our pistol-class bags. If you carry two PDPs to the range (a Full Size and a Compact, say), a single Concord handles both with mag space to spare.
