Looking Ahead to 2026: What’s New at Lynx Defense

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026: WHAT’S NEW AT LYNX DEFENSE

Published: | Updated:

Welcome to the new Lynx Defense website.

As we move into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to share what’s new, what’s evolving, and where we’re headed next. The past year was spent building foundations—new tools, new products, and new ways of doing things—and now that work is coming together in a big way.

This update is both a quick look back at what we set in motion and a clear look forward at what’s ahead.

A New Website, Built for What’s Next

If you’re reading this, you’re already seeing one of the biggest changes:

Our new website is live.

This refresh isn’t just about visuals. It’s about performance, clarity, and building a platform that can support deeper customization, better product discovery, and everything we’re rolling out in 2026 and beyond.

You’ll continue to see improvements, refinements, and new features added as we go.

Rifle Bag Builder + MTO: Both Here to Stay

Our Rifle Bag Builder continues to expand as a more visual, flexible way to design a rifle bag exactly the way you want it. Over time, more options and configurations will be folded into the Builder to create a truly complete custom experience.

That said, MTO (Made-to-Order) isn’t going anywhere.

MTO remains a core part of Lynx Defense and will continue to be supported and improved. Some customers know exactly what they want and prefer a traditional ordering experience—and that option will remain.

Two paths. Same end goal: gear built the right way.

Expanded Colors and Customization Options

One of the biggest upgrades coming to the Rifle Bag Builder is expanded color availability. We’re consolidating color options that were previously spread across individual MTO products and bringing them directly into the Builder.

The goal is simple:

A unified, no-compromise bag-building experience where you can fully dial in your setup and get exactly what you want—no workarounds, no guessing.

A Strong Pipeline of New Products

We’re heading into 2026 with a full lineup of new products in development. Some are refinements of existing designs, while others are entirely new additions that expand what Lynx Defense offers.

Expect to see:

  1. New accessories focused on organization and efficiency
  2. Updates and evolutions of existing bags
  3. Products designed to integrate more seamlessly across our lineup
  4. A few brand-new concepts we’ve been quietly developing

Details will start rolling out as launches approach. We are also considering bringing you a public facing roadmap to follow along on our development journey.

Pattern Availability Update (Transparency First)

A quick and important note on fabric patterns.

Some patterns are becoming unavailable—not by choice, but because our suppliers are no longer producing them. Specialty textiles come and go, and when production stops, availability ends.

M81 Woodland is no longer available.

The following patterns are still available while supplies last:

  1. Desert Tiger Stripe
  2. Vietnam Tiger Stripe
  3. Multicam Tropic

This isn’t a scare tactic or a pressure play—we simply want to give customers a clear heads-up so no one misses out unintentionally.

More Real-World Content, Without Losing the Polish

We’re also expanding how we share what happens inside Lynx Defense.

  1. @lynx.defense on Instagram will feature more behind-the-scenes and candid content—design work, production, testing, and day-to-day operations.
  2. @lynxdefense on Instagram will continue to focus on clean, high-quality product photos and videos.
  3. We’re also ramping up our YouTube channel with longer-form content, including product breakdowns, design philosophy, and deeper looks into how and why we build what we do.

This approach lets us show more of the process while keeping our core product presentation sharp and intentional.

Moving Forward

2025 laid the groundwork.

2026 is about execution, expansion, and refinement.

We appreciate everyone who supports Lynx Defense and trusts us to build the gear they rely on. There’s a lot coming—and we’re just getting started.

Thanks for being here.
