The AR-15 Magazine Bag is a purpose-built carrier for transporting loaded AR-15 magazines to and from the range. No wasted space, no unnecessary pockets — just a clean, efficient bag designed to do one thing well: carry your mags.
Built from 1000D Cordura nylon and sewn in Selma, North Carolina, the Magazine Bag is constructed to handle the weight of fully loaded magazines without breaking down over time. Reinforced stitching at all stress points ensures this bag holds up season after season.
Two Ways to Carry
Load your magazines upright for quick access or lay them flat to maximize capacity. The upright position holds up to 7 magazines, keeping them organized and easy to grab — ideal for competition shooters or structured range sessions. The flat position fits 8-9 magazines into the same footprint — perfect for stocking up for a long day at the range or transporting bulk mags to and from storage.
Built for Range Day
This isn't a tactical pouch meant for a plate carrier, and it's not a general-purpose range bag with a magazine pocket bolted on as an afterthought. The AR-15 Magazine Bag is a dedicated carrier designed to get your loaded magazines from point A to point B. Grab it, load it, go.

Must-have for the Pelican
This was exactly what I needed to really rein in the organization of my Pelican. Had my mags loosely in a large Savior equipment bag and it was a mess. You can hear them flying around whenever I moved the case. Lynx's mag bag is padded, awesome color (ranger green), and solid construction. This is my second purchase from them. I will be a repeat customer. Such a simple thing but it's funny to me how nobody is really coming up with simple solutions like this. There are versions but most are overcomplicated or way too big like the Midway offering.
This is a great little bag. Does exactly what it’s supposed to.
I have been looking for something like this for years...
I bought these to try out. I have been purchasing stuff like this for years now, and none of it really worked out due to the fact I put ranger plates on my mags. I like to keep mags loaded despite what YouTube boomers say about springs. These things work out extremely well for my Magpul mags with ranger plates as well as my Magpul AK47 mags with ranger plates. I will be ordering more of these, especially if they offer them in multicam variants. I was going to say they would be cool with Velcro to mark them with morale patches or something, but for now I will just use hockey tape and sharpie.
Response from Lynx Defense
Thanks for trying them out! We do plan to expand the color options, even if they are made to order! We have also discussed adding Velcro for patches.
