Searching for a solid range bag is somewhat difficult. Lynx not only took care of that, but introduced me to the Prime Pistol Bag and the Rifle Solo Bag. Re: the Range Bag – I wanted to keep things simple: Room for a couple of pistols, mags, ammo, eyes & ears, gloves, and some small tools. What else do you really need? I also love how clean looking it is and not overly loud. Keeping things simple is a lost art. Highly recommend.

I received my Pistol Range Bag in Coyote as a Christmas gift from my USMC son. Immediately fell in love with it and also purchased a Concord as a 2 person shooting bag. PS: As a teenager I worked in a Sail Loft and worked with Sail Cloths, corduras, zippers, webbing, buckles, you name it. I know that the American made textile products are superior to imported products by far! I ordered from Lynx Defense because my highest criterion was that it be made in the USA. Upon receipt, yep, as many have noted, it was very high quality.
Things to consider to change:
1. Make the interior components a color lighter than black. This will make it easier to find things. I looked at other companies; they have a tan or grey interior.
2. Lockable—Unfortunately, I live in California, and in order to be in compliance, I must transport a weapon in a locked container. I am not an advocate of going overboard, but I want to be in a place where I can say I am in compliance. In other containers, I use a TSA lock through the pull tab to a circular hook. Is it secure? No. Am I in compliance? Yes! Your product has a circular hook, but its positioning is such that it is difficult to get two TSA locks thru it.

The width of the bag does limit the length of handgun that can be put on the holder even when angled. 6″ barrel length revolvers will not fit in the normal space. I did figure out it will lay across the top of the 2 dividers.

I previously bought this range bag in Wolf Gray. My wife and I liked it so much, I bought my wife one in Splatter. I only wish there were a couple of bright colors since she prefers that her cases be readily identifiable.

The choice between a Pistol Range Bag and a Custom Pistol Bag was a toss-up–neither was available, so I signed up for an availability alert for what I imagined would entail the shorter wait: a Pistol Range Bag in Splatter (because as a color-loving woman, it appealed to me more than the other options). When I got word that it was available, I ordered.
I’m beyond pleased with the quality of my new bag. I’d SO much rather purchase items that aren’t made in China, and this bag hit all the buttons. It’s robust, it has plenty of room (including pockets), it’s customizable, and it looks good. I ordered the ammunition insert and saved a few bucks, which was a nice option. The inclusion of a cleaning mat is a bonus. And while I really would’ve preferred the option of a custom bag with a Splatter exterior and a more colorful interior, this bag meets my needs just fine.
If you’re on the fence about spending for this bag, just go for it. I promise you won’t regret it.

Needed a new bag as my old one had holes in it from tool and punch storage. I researched Lynx and bought their standard wolf grey. Really nice simple layout and perfect size for IDPA and other sports. I plan on getting a dedicated organizer for my tools to carry tools inside the end pocket. Quality material and still lightweight. Plan on doing a video review after a few trips.
I had planned on purchasing the ammo pouch insert but there was a separate shipping fee, which made the insert very expensive. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just ship it installed inside the bag like the other one’s.

Part of the sales pitch for this bag is that it’s the perfect size, and it really is. Like a lot of people, I’ve tried several range bags, and they’re either too big or too small for my needs. I don’t want to bring everything I own to the range, but I want to bring at least the basics –eyes, ears, ammo, cleaning kit, first aid kit, multitool, and maybe another item or two (I generally carry the guns and magazines in a backpack, since I keep each gun and its magazines in a separate pistol case, so I don’t put those in the bag). Lynx’s pistol range bag is perfect for the way I do things. Plus, the bag has a fairly rigid bottom, which is nice, and it comes with removable dividers, which is also handy. Other bags have worked OK for me in the past (I have a small Uncle Mike’s bag that I like, and a little Vertx bag), but they usually come up short in one area or another –just a bit too small, or too floppy, or too open, so that all the stuff inside mingles. So far, Lynx’s bag checks all the boxes. Plus, it’s made in the USA, which is something I try to go with whenever I can. Great bag.

Great bag fits my belt two holsters two pistols (Glock 17/Glock 45) mags and ammo.
Couple improvements I would do is maybe find a way so the pistol slots will accommodate flashlights mounted on lights & maybe a Molle set up on the side to add a pouch. For a little more flexibility. Otherwise it’s a great bag that does what it is advertised to do and do it well.
I have a 36” rifle bag I bought a while back and it works nice too I would only improve the shoulder backpack straps to make it a little more comfortable for carrying on your back. Good job guys.

Recently received my Gun Range Bag from Lynx and I must say it is spectacular in quality. For many years I have tried to make a concerted effort to BUY USA and I will tell you that the workmanship of this bag is amazing. My color choice was not in stock but waiting was not an issue since this is was an extra.
