Urban Legend Series
DISCREET RIFLE CASES THAT DON'T LOOK LIKE GUN CASES
Five padded soft cases for SBRs, AR pistols, PCCs, 16-inch rifles and shotguns, sized by interior length, with a plain exterior that reads as luggage. Sewn in Selma, North Carolina from 1000D Cordura.
THE DISCREET RIFLE CASES
Ordered by interior length, shortest to longest.
COMPARE THE FIVE CASES
The only number that matters is your firearm's overall length in the configuration you carry it: brace collapsed, stock folded, suppressor mounted if that is how it rides. Measure it, then read down the interior column.
| Bag | Interior (L × W × H) | Fits | Best for | From |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Byte | 20.5" × 3.5" × 11.5" | Under 20" overall | PCCs, sub guns and PDWs with the brace folded | $269.99 |
| Bureau | 32" × 3.5" × 11.5" | Up to 32" overall | AR pistols, SBRs, folding-stock rifles | $339.99 |
| Bronx | 35.4" × 4" × 11.5" | Up to 35" overall | 16-inch ARs and carbines, stock collapsed | $369.99 |
| Manhattan | 36" × 4" × 12" | Two rifles, up to 36" overall | Two carbines in one low-profile case | $449.99 |
| Gigabyte | 42" × 3.5" × 11.5" | Up to 42" overall | Tactical shotguns and scoped bolt rifles | $499.99 |
Every case shares the same construction: 1000D Cordura shell, closed-cell foam padding, loop-lined interior panels for our hook-backed mag holders and pouches, configurable retention straps, and an exterior with no webbing, no exposed magazine pouches and a small logo.
WHICH DISCREET CASE FOR WHICH FIREARM
PISTOL CALIBER CARBINES AND SUB GUNS
The Byte, sized for firearms under 20 inches with the brace folded: SIG MPX, CZ Scorpion, MP5 and AP5, Stribog, Kuna, Ruger PC Charger and similar. A suppressed host usually runs past 20 inches and moves up to the Bureau. See the PCC fitment guide for the carbines we have tested.
AR PISTOLS AND SBRs
The Bureau, 32 inches of interior length. Most braced AR pistols with 7.5 to 11.5 inch barrels come in under that with the brace collapsed, as do the MCX with its stock folded and the Honey Badger SD. The Bureau page lists the configurations we have fit by hand. Sizing by barrel length is in the AR pistol case guide; the SBR and PDW fitment guide covers the rest.
16-INCH RIFLES
The Bronx, 35.4 inches of interior length, fits a standard 16-inch AR-15 or carbine with the stock collapsed, optics mounted. A 16-inch rifle with a suppressor mounted runs longer than that and belongs in the Gigabyte. Two 16-inch rifles: the Manhattan.
SHOTGUNS AND BOLT RIFLES
The Gigabyte, 42 inches: tactical shotguns like the Benelli M4 and Mossberg 590, and scoped bolt-action rifles with barrels up to about 22 inches. Longer than that, the Terabyte at 54 inches is the bag, though it is a traditional case rather than a discreet one.
WHY DISCREET
A case covered in webbing and magazine pouches tells everyone in the parking lot what is inside. These cases carry the same padding and organization on the inside and nothing on the outside but a plain shell and a handle, so you can walk from the truck to the door without an audience. The discreet gun case guide goes deeper on when and why that matters.
SEWN IN SELMA, NORTH CAROLINA
Every Urban Legend case is cut and sewn at our own facility from 1000D Cordura with IDEAL zippers and bartacked stress points, and repaired by us under the lifetime warranty. Want a different pattern? The Byte, Bureau, Bronx and Gigabyte are also made to order in Multicam, Tiger Stripe and more.

DISCREET RIFLE CASE FAQS
The Bureau, with 32 inches of interior length. Most braced AR pistols with 7.5 to 11.5 inch barrels fit with the brace collapsed, and the Bureau page lists the configurations we have fit by hand. A standard 16-inch AR-15 needs the Bronx. Measure your firearm overall, as you carry it, before ordering.
No. The exterior is plain 1000D Cordura with a small logo, no webbing and no exposed magazine pouches, so the case reads as luggage. The organization is all on the inside: loop-lined panels, hook-backed pouches and magazine holders, and configurable retention straps.
Measure to the end of the can. In our testing a suppressed BRN-180, Fortis FMA15 and KRISS Vector fit the Bureau, but snug. A suppressed 16-inch rifle runs past the Bronx and belongs in the Gigabyte, and a suppressed PCC usually runs past the Byte and moves up to the Bureau.
