GOBY IFAK: The Perfect Car First Aid Kit

The GOBY is a specifically designed car first aid kit that allows you to strap a velcro platform to the back of your car headrest and attach the IFAK or first aid kit to the back of the headrest velcro mount.

This allows you quick and easy access to your car’s first aid kit in the event of an emergency. Knowing where your first aid kit and having quick and easy access to it is as essential as having a first aid kit in your car in the first place.

The most important thing for an IFAK is for it to be easy to access even when fine motor skills are limited. When your adrenaline is pumping you need to be able to grab medical supplies and get to the person(s) who need the supplies to save their life. That was the underlying idea for the GOBY to keep life-saving medical supplies secure and easy to access right when they are needed.

With our hook & loop system, the GOBY attaches quickly and securely to the universal headrest mount. The universal headrest mount is a sturdy mount with three points of contact for retention and fits on any vehicle headrest.

BEHIND THE NAME

The GOBY (pronounced [goh-bee]) Individual First Aid Kit derived its name from the Goby fish that has a symbiotic relationship with the pistol shrimp. The GOBY and the pistol shrimp both benefit from their relationship and one offers protection for the other. The GOBY IFAK’s name embraces the symbiotic relationship that humans share for caring for each other when in need.
