The material, stitching, and zippers are top notch. My AR with 16” barrel and B5 length buffer tube and 5” Thunder beast suppressor fit with no issue.
A few observations after using this case. Metal zipper pulls rub against things inside the case when it’s zipped closed. The pockets on the outside could use a pleat or something to allow a little bit expansion to the pocket. Great case made by American folks. Can’t go wrong.
The Solo is superbly made and works well to case a folding MDT HNT26 chassis bolt rifle with a 22” barrel + muzzle break. I’m very pleased with this case! (For Canadian buyers, I was only hit with GST (in AB) at the border.)

The Solo is well made and fits my targeted use perfectly. This is the only case I've found that was exactly what I wanted and Made in the United States.
The Lynx Solo rocks! It is big enough to fit my Daniel defense M4A1 with compensator, EOTech sight and magnifier very comfortably but without a lot of extra (wasted) space. I have eight, 30-round mags in the exterior pockets, a sling in one interior pocket and misc in the other. The bag is as well made as my other Lynx products with excellent padding, workmanship and materials. It has all the space I need without a bunch of extra pouches and space that I either wouldn't use or would fill with unnecessary crap. I buy USA Made whenever I can, and love supporting small businesses ... Lynx is my go-to supplier for range and gun bags. When I contact them with questions I get a response from the president ... they take customer service seriously. Well worth the money for a USA Made bag that I'm sure my son will carry long after I'm gone.
I was looking for a quality rectangular single rifle bag that was made in the USA. It had to be 36 inches long and wide enough to accommodate a collapsible stocked AR-15 optic mounted rifle. It had to have quality zippers and be made from 1000D Cordura fabric. I wanted the bag to have pockets large enough for some spare magazines, targets, ammo, ect. but not be big and bulky. The Solo rifle bag checked all the boxes and more!
It wasn’t an easy decision because all the colors offered look great, but I purchased mine in black.
Is this the least expensive rifle bag out there? Of course not, but if you’re looking for a high quality case with a lifetime warranty to safely transport the firearm you invested in… buy a Lynx Defense Solo.
